Are you a detail-driven accounting professional who enjoys working closely with operations teams to keep projects financially on track? We’re partnering with a dynamic and well-established company that is looking to hire a Project Accountant to support their continued growth.

In this role, you’ll play a critical part in managing the financial health of multiple ongoing projects. From tracking budgets and preparing accurate reports to collaborating with project managers, you’ll be the go-to person for ensuring fiscal accuracy and accountability across the board.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee financial aspects of assigned projects from start to finish

• Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and job cost reports

• Review and process project-related invoices, change orders, and billing

• Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure proper financial documentation and compliance

• Reconcile project accounts and contribute to month-end and year-end close

• Support audits and maintain accurate project records for internal and external use

• Identify and resolve discrepancies quickly, keeping project financials clean and transparent

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience in project or construction accounting

• Strong understanding of job cost accounting and project financial reporting

• Experience using Sage software

• Solid Excel skills and familiarity with accounting principles (GAAP)

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with operations and finance teams

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
